APPLICATION – California Green Medal

APPLY BY FEBRUARY 6, 2026

Focus on sustainability practices, projects and/or initiatives that have taken place in the past three years, with a particular emphasis on the past 12 months.
Include measurable results whenever possible.
Include major accomplishments, relevant background about your dedication to sustainability, and why you are a good fit for the award category for which you are applying.
Describe how the sustainability practices, projects and/or initiatives are unique and/or innovative.
Any applicants with multiple operations are encouraged to provide a company-wide perspective in application responses.
Applicants are encouraged to collaborate with multiple employees when completing the application. For example, have a viticulturist complete questions on farming practices and have a marketing/PR executive address questions pertaining to community relations and stakeholder communications.

– Photographs highlighting practices
– Media clippings/coverage/testimonials
– Sustainability reports
– Mission or value statement
– Previous awards/Acknowledgements
– Staff CVs or biographies
– Letters of recommendation or endorsement
